With over 25 years experience in the Playground Industry we are able to offer advice, support and play packages for Schools and Nurseries across the Uk.

We pride ourselves in providing high quality play equipment from across the market. We source equipment and ancillary items often from several suppliers, to ensure you have the equipment that meets your budget and your exact requirements. We work with experienced, established Playground Contractors who carry out the installations for both the equipment and surfacing ensuring a professional seamless job.

Our playground designs also provide Inclusive Play & Playground Equipment where required.

We can provide solutions which allow children with disabilities and special needs to have equal access to the best play opportunities. We design our play equipment to be accessible to all - Our playgrounds allow all children, no matter what their abilities, to play side by side while encouraging them to explore their limits and have fun together.

WHAT WE DO

KOOLPLAY offer many Services which can be tailored to suit your requirements.

We have a broad understanding of the EYFS in nurseries and the curriculum requirements in Key Stage 1 & 2 at schools. We work closely with Early Years settings and Primary Schools to provide outdoor play provision to meet a range of developmental needs.

We often work with Staff, PTA Members and School Councils with a step by step approach to ensure the right equipment is selected.

Choosing the right product along with a well thought out executed design is key to enthusing the children, so that through play they can develop their fundamental motor skills, become increasingly competent and confident whilst enhancing their fitness as well as their social well-being.

A full design service including the supply of both 2D and 3D drawings in CAD or PDF is available dependent on your requirements.

There are opportunities for the children to become involved in the development of the Play Area as a School Project and become engaged in a ‘Bob the Builder’ type task during installation

THE PROCESS

KOOLPLAY provides a from inception approach to all projects, whether you have the type and style of equipment in mind or you have a blank canvas we can provide the full service tailored to your needs, specific design brief and budget.

PRELIMINARY MEETING

Each project generally begins with an initial meeting with the School to discuss the requirements of the project. The main objectives of the initial meeting are as follows:

To understand project priorities and goals.
Survey the designated area and review any possible site constraints.
Evaluate project budgets and time frames.

DESIGN & EQUIPMENT SELECTION

Equipment sourced can be either timber or steel and complies with EN1176.
Equipment available includes multiplays, trim trails, outdoor classrooms, seating etc
Safety surfacing installed complies with EN1177.
2D or 3D drawings can be produced and will include all relevant Information.

INSTALLATION

Project management of your scheme and working closely with suppliers ensure a continuous and seamless installation.
An Independent Post Installation Inspection is advised and can also be arranged.
